NursesWe pride ourselves on the quality of our nursing staff. As part of our Best Practice Accreditation all our nursing staff must be fully trained, however they are much more than that - approachable, dedicated and continually striving for excellence. Their attitude and attention to detail ensures that your pets are in the best of hands. You can email the nurses at nurses@stokevets.co.nzTina Tina has been Head Veterinary Nurse for Stoke Vet Clinic since 1997 since beginning her Veterinary Nursing career in 1994 at age 16. In 2008 she became our Nursing Unit Manager overseeing all aspects of nursing care and development at the clinic. Since qualifying she has completed a Certificate in Canine Behaviour through Massey University and a number of business management papers. She has tutored Animal Care and Vet Nursing students in both the class room and practice since 2003. Kylie Kylie joined our team shortly after graduating as a vet nurse in 1998. As a senior nurse she is involved in the training of new staff and negotiating the complexities of our computer systems - a vital component of a well functioning practice. Kylie is responsible for maintaining our pharmacy and ensuring our patients are kept informed when their vaccinations are due. She has attended several annual Veterinary Nursing Conferences and has introduced new techniques from these into our daily practice procedures.
